The Best Fuji Digital Camera I Could Find

Out of all the models I tried, the best Fuji digital camera was the Finepix S1000fd, with an optical zoom of 12x and 10 megapixels. The resolution of the camera is good enough for you to print photos at 18 x 24 inches. The LCD screen has 2.7 inches. Some of the its features are red eye removal, panorama shooting mode and picture stabilization. The photos you take can be stored on SD/SDHC and xD memory cards.

If you want the best Fuji digital camera and you're an amateur, the Finepix S1000fd is affordable and does its job well. You can also record movies on it, at 30 fps. If you want to do some high speed photos, you can do that as well, though the fastest shots are at only 2 megapixels (7.5 fps).

Depending on what kind of scene you want to shoot, the camera comes with 14 different modes to choose from: Landscape, Fireworks, Portrait, Beach, Snow, Night, Sport, Flower, Party, Museum and Text.

You need four AA batteries to run this digital camera.

Now, for my opinion on the camera. Before this model, I owned a Finepix S5100. While it was still a good camera, I needed something new, since it was five years old. The quality of the photos was evident from the start, but it was not a surprise since the old one had 4 megapixels and the new one has 10. Even if you use the digital camera on auto mode only, the overwhelming majority of the photos will end up looking great. I suggest using rechargeable batteries, so you save a lot of money in time. I know some people thought that in close-ups the photos were blurry, but I had no problems in that department.

While it's not as good as digital SLR cameras, it's better than a point and shoot. The size is just right and the weight is perfect. One option that you will like is choosing a setting that you love and save it so you can use it again in the future.

I even took panorama shots for the first time. The camera was very helpful, pointing out where to position the second and third shots.

One downside of this camera is that it lacks a manual focus, an option that I would've loved to have.

I think that this digital camera can be used by anyone that wants to switch to professional photography, because its features are those that you will need to learn for a DSLR.
