Nikon CoolPix P7000 Digital Camera New Nikon Prosumer with Manual Controls


Nikon announced the latest prosumer digital camera, the Nikon Coolpix P7000, which is "the ideal traveling companion for your digital SLR", according to Nikon said. Nikon's P7000, P100 and P6000 joining the P-series cameras, features a 1/1.7-inch 10.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, 7.1x wide-angle zoom Nikkor ED glass lens with 28mm wide angle, a large optical viewfinder with a dial diopter adjustment and 3-inch LCD screen.


Nikon Coolpix P7000 has particularly 5-Way features Vibration Reduction (VR) Image Stabilization System consists of Optical VR Image Stabilization, Hybrid VR Image Stabilization with lens shift and electronic VR, Motion Detection, up to 6400 ISO and Best Shot Selector (BSS). The camera also offers a subject tracking, auto scene selector, Smart Potrait System which includes Face-Priority AF and fixes red-eye in the camera.

Nikon Coolpix P7000 modes include full manual control (PSAM), Elektronic Virtual Horizon Indicator, and functions in-camera editing. The camera is capable of recording 720p HD video and offers HDMI output. Nikon Coolpix P7000 will be available in late September at a price of $ 499.95 and you can order now at Amazon.
