Panasonic has announced a new compact digital camera LUMIX DMC-TS10 (aka DMC-FT10) which is a type of camera is shock resistant and waterproof, with a more affordable price than TS2. This camera is the newest member of the series is TS-Series Rugged TS10/FT10 who does not really serugged Lumix TS2. TS10 DMC camera is waterproof to 10 meters (33 feet on TS2), shockproof to 5 feet (10 feet on TS2), dustproof and freezeproof to 14 degrees F. And TS10 also features a silicone jacket to prevent scratches.
Panasonic Lumix TS10 comes with a 14.1 Megapixel sensor that can be folded optics design with a 4x optical zoom lens, Venus Engine IV for image processing and 2.7-inch LCD screen. These cameras also have Intelligent Auto (iA) mode, image stabilizer MEGA OIS, Intelligent ISO, Face Detection and Intelligent Scene Selector function. TS10 this record 720p HD video in Motion JPEG format. There is also a High-Angle mode makes the LCD screen easy to view when the camera is lifted high.
Panasonic TS10 is available in blue, red, black and silver. Panasonic LUMIX DMC-TS10 will be released in September for $ 249.95.
